Before you commit

Send your export. We'll tell you what ports cleanly.

Switching systems is a real decision, and most of the risk hides in the data. Send us your current export and we'll give you an honest read on what moves clean and what doesn't — before you sign anything.

The offer

You're weighing a switch and the brochures all say the same thing: it'll be smooth. The honest part nobody puts on a feature page is that some of your data moves clean and some of it goes lossy. The only way to know which is to look at your actual export — yours, not a sample.

So that's the offer. Send us the export from your current system. We read it against what Camp Runner can receive and send back a written read: what ports cleanly, what's lossy, and where to be careful. No demo, no sales call, no migration contract attached. A look at your real data before you commit your season to a move.

What to send

Whatever your current system gives you. The common ones:

  • CampMinder, CampBrain, UltraCamp, or Active Network. The standard data export from your admin tools — rosters, registrations, and whatever medical and family records the export includes.
  • Spreadsheets. If you've run your camp out of a stack of sheets, send those. We read those too.
  • A partial export. Even one season's roster is enough to tell you how your data lands. You don't have to hand over everything.

Strip out anything you're not comfortable sharing — we only need the shape of the data to tell you how it ports.

What you get back

A written read of your export, in plain terms:

  • What ports cleanly. The fields that map straight across — usually rosters and registration history.
  • What's lossy. The records that don't survive a careless move. Structured medical data and returning-family links are the usual risk areas, and we tell you which apply to your export.
  • Where to be careful. The parts that move, but need a decision from you first — so nothing surprises you on arrival day.

An honest read, not a pitch. A vendor willing to look at your real export before you sign is telling you something a brochure can't.

Questions, answered

What is an export audit?

Send the data export from your current system and we review it against what Camp Runner can receive. You get an honest read on what ports cleanly and what's lossy — before you commit. It's not a demo and not a sales call. It's a look at your real data.

Which systems can you audit an export from?

Any of them. CampMinder, CampBrain, UltraCamp, Active Network, or a stack of spreadsheets you've kept by hand. If you can export it, we can read it and tell you how it lands.

What does the audit cost?

Nothing. We look at your export and send back a written read. There's no obligation to switch and no migration contract attached to it.

Is this a migration guarantee?

No. We won't promise a clean lift of every field — that's the kind of claim that breaks on arrival day. What we give you is the truth about your specific data: which parts move clean, which parts go lossy, and where to be careful.

What data usually ports cleanly, and what is lossy?

Rosters and registration history usually move well. Structured medical records and returning-family links are the lossy risk areas — exported as flat text, structured records stop being queryable. The audit tells you which of these apply to your export.
