Save a card for your CampRunner bill

CampRunner charges your camp per accepted camper per month, billed monthly in advance. The current price is on our pricing page. A card on file is needed before registration can open.

Add the card

  1. Open Settings and select the Billing tab. Camp owners and admins can see it.
  2. Select Add card. A secure Stripe page opens.
  3. Enter the card and save. You come back to Billing, which now shows the card on file and No charges yet.

The step on your dashboard checklist is ticked as soon as the card is saved.

After that

Billing shows your next charge once there is one and your past charges. Download gives a PDF statement for a charge. To change the card or see full invoices, select Manage card and invoices. If a charge ever fails, a banner in CampRunner tells you, with an Update card button.

Good to know

  • Saving a card does not charge it. Your first charge comes once you start accepting campers.
  • Registration can't open until a card is saved.
  • Between seasons, your bill stays at last season's accepted count until next season's registration closes.
  • This card pays CampRunner. It is separate from Stripe, where families' tuition goes.
