Registration opens per session, through its registration window: the dates families can register between. CampRunner only lets you open a window once Stripe is connected and a card is saved for your CampRunner bill, so families can pay the moment they register.

Before you open

Publish your registration form first, so families have something to fill in. Set pricing too: families can register without it, but nothing is charged until tuition is set.

Set the window

  1. Pick the session in the session picker at the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. Open Settings, then the Session tab, and go to Registration window.
  3. Choose when registration opens and, if you want, when it closes. With no close date it stays open until you close it.
  4. Save. The step on your dashboard checklist is ticked.

You can also set a session’s window from the sessions list, which you reach through Manage sessions in the session picker.

Close registration

To stop new registrations right away, open the same Registration window and close it. The open date is kept, so you can see when the window ran, and you can reopen it later by setting new dates.

Good to know

  • A window can open in the future. Families can register from the open date, and the checklist counts it as done.
  • Closing registration does not cut off families who are part-way through. Anyone with a registration already started can finish it.
  • Each session has its own window, so you can open Week 1 before Week 2.
